Movie Preview : The Haunted House Project
(In Korea with English & Chinese subtitles)

Am honor to be selected as one of the blogger to attend OMY.SG movie preview hence I brought along Baby with me since I am allowed to bring one guest to company me ^^

The movie shown is a video footage 'recovered' by a team in search of their member who went missing after they visited the infamously haunted house whereby an entire family of 5 were murdered during the IMF era (approximate 42 years ago).

Ignoring all danger, warning and signs they entered the haunted house

Strange things start to happen but they wouldn't leave the house and continue with their filming till the 1st Victim was killed!

It was then they panicked.
They scream and they run but they NEVER find the exit instead they keep returning to the same spot where they run by countless time. Banging the door and begging for help desperately to no use at all.

Went to MBFC (Marina Bay Financial Centre) with Chuxuan yesterday to start packing stocks for our shop 2nd outlets which is due to open next Wednesday on the 3rd of November! *excited*

While waiting for our Boss to come Chuxuan & I cam-whore a little at the silent corridor ^^

And that's the inside of our shop (still under renovation obviously). And

I could not express in words on how gorgeous they look hence you all really got to go down and see it with your own eyes! Just like the saying goes - Seeing is believing! LOL.

Our 1st mission that day is to finish off the SLIPPERS again which Chuxuan & I packed at our warehouse a few days ago -.-''

All the new O.P.I nail lacquer that we needs to check the quantity one by one followed by labeling them. *madness*

Updates @ Work

Been working daily since last Monday and I'm finally off today and tomorrow which I applied leave weeks ago. Actually, today suppose to go back school in the evening for my self-study on a model introduced to me by an ex-colleagues of mine but that irresponsible bitch back out last min without even bother to inform me and she still got the cheek to give me ridiculous replies to defend herself which I slap her back by an email stating all the facts out one by one which she failed to accuse me.
Since then no replies from her anymore after her lies has been exposed by me :)
*p.s I'm NOT a push over alright?! BITCH.

And Baby is suppose to return on this 22nd but due to some unforeseen circumstances, his return is delay. What a waste of my two off day. What to do? Just my luck man -.-''

Anyway here's some updates of my work :
I'm practicing French on Eugenia hands with OPI 'Mod about you' and 'Alpine Snow' when there are no customer in the shop. I was being told that OPI 'Mod about you' is quite hard to paint hence it is wise to use that to practice French. Practice makes perfect and so I must Jia You!!! ^^

Massage lesson @ Pink Room

Attended massage lesson with my new batch of classmates last Friday in school and it was quite fun. I always thought that my 1st batch of classmates are the most 'happening' one but didn't expect this class to be much much much worse till Joe (my extension mentor) can't stand their noise and got to close the door of his class next to our classroom every time when he has class going on. LOL

Anyway here are some random picture of us doing foot massage in class :

I'll went insane one for goddess sake! Hence after I massage my partner, I got her to do her practice on another classmate of ours *hehe* that's so smart of me ya ^^

Went to Marina Bay Link Mall after work with all my colleagues(except dear Eugenia) and Boss to see our 2nd outlet shop which is due to open this coming 3rd November! *so excited*

The main purpose of us going down there is to explore the surrounding like neighboring shops, MRT location and most importantly - TOILETS *LOL*

After our 'Tour', Christine & Ah Boon (our Bosses) brought us to club street 'Spizza' for dinner.
While waiting for them to park their car, we are busy snapping away in the restaurant! ^^

I've found a Part Time Receptionist Job @ a Local Nail Salon in Orchard!! ^^
And why am I so happy about it? Reason is because after being jobless for 2 months plus I finally hold a stable job in the local Nail industry! The reason why I can't start off directly as Nail Technician is because I've not attended the most important and basic modules yet which I estimate to be completed by end of this October!

Meanwhile, I'll just start off working happily as a Receptionist since I've got so much experience in this area and at the same time check out my prospect in the company ya.If the prospect is good and the environment is friendly, I will give up my previous thoughts of working as a freelancer and stay in the company to work together with my seniorsssss which I'm so surprise when I was being told that they all graduated from my school!

This only prove one things, my school is god damn good man!

23rd Birthday Celebration

Received a call from Catherine at about 11.30pm just before I am going to sleep.
She had 'carelessly' left her house keys on my table earlier on when she came to my house to chill.
I was damn moody and upset that day for having a tiff with BF that afternoon and was crying to myself after Catherine left my house. Really feel so heartbroken and upset till Catherine ring me.

She ask me to wait for her at my house down stair study area while she rush back to collect her keys from me hence I washed my face, took her keys and waited for her. I waited . . . and waited . . . till the clock strike 23:59 and Catherine ring me . . . she was hiding at my back with Shiyun holding my Birthday cake personally bake by herself.

I am so touched at that moment when I turned around and saw them.
No one has ever took that great effort and patient in baking a cake personally for me before.
I always thought that my BF would be the 1st person as I've been pestering him to learn bakery to satisfy my sweet tooth end up it is one of my best friend, Shiyun who bake me a Birthday cake. And she had bake one of my favourite, Chocolate fudge cake to me!

The three of us then went home separately after having some of the cake as it is rather late already and all of us got to work / attend school the following day. When I reached home, Dad was already back home in the living room having his real late 'dinner' as usual and I accompany him to eat a little as I spot my favourite dish - Crab!!!

My Actual Birthday.
Went to school for 'Spa & Treatment' lesson from 12pm ~ 6pm (1/4 of my day are gone like that!)
LOL. Forget it! Since I didn't have any programme going on for that day might as well rot in school.

*Scrubbing in progess . . . scrub scrub scrub . . .

After the scrubs, apply mask to the hand and clean the hyponychium + manicure steps ^^
My goddness!! I really love and enjoy all these 'treatments' as it really makes my skin look more radiant, smoother and most importantly! Fairer! *p.s I love fair skins/complexion to the max! Lastly, apply red polish and put cuticle oil and it is done! Next, my turn to provide 'service' to my partner. LOL

My lunch that afternoon which I only ate 1/4 of it. Not that I want to waste food but I just lost my appetites so suddenly despite having a rumbling stomach since morning. After leaving the food on the table, I feel so guilty about it but I really can't force down anymore food to my throat anymore or I might end up throwing out everything. And frankly speaking the problem does not lies with the food instead the western food @ SMU is really very nice specially the fish & chips which is my top favourite ya.

I went home directly after attending second half of the lesson with my newly done classic pedicure in school. Left feet nails painted by me while the right one are done by my partner, Irene. Well, I can't possible go home with only one feet cover with red polish on the nails while the other one has got nothing right? And since I'm so free, I stayed at my class to complete painting the other feet.

*LOL* and today I ALMOST kick my partner face when she grabbed my feet to her eye level as I feel super duber tickerlish! *faint* And to add on to my miserable day, I just realise from this picture that one of the ribbons on my left shoes has dropped! And lost in whatever corner now.
What a day! :(

And so, just 10mins before this miserable + unlucky birthday ends
(which I skipped my dinner and cry my heart out silently in my room hopping it could ends quickly) someone suddenly shown up at my house with a little sweet treats and a big hugs (as usual)

A Heartbroken Birthday

Random School Days

I am going to complete all my modules soon! *mad happy*
But I am not yet all prepared for my exam. As I still needs to go back to my school for more self-practice and self-study. Hex . . . that's me you know. I don't fight a battle without getting all prepared with confidence. I rather don't go to battle till I am confidence of winning it :)

Anyway here's a sneak preview of my mini tools box which I dump everything inside and dragged it to school last 2 weeks ago as I thought that it is our mock exam! End up it is only briefing for that day and salon management lesson *faint* FML for being such a blur sotong man.

I am so shocked when I see all my classmates coming to school with their handbags only and NOTHING else! Needless to say . . . they laugh at me a little BUT it's alright cause they mean no harm and luck was on my side because coincidentally there is an empty locker available for rent as the other student has cancel her rental. *Woohoo!* Mad happy at that moment cause there are only a total of 9 locker only and I am finally one of the lucky one! Immediately I pay for the locker rental to the school and dump my whole tools box in it!

And these are what I learn to draw and paint recently :

I do not know why but somehow I find that my Teacher (on the bottom right) look like the Panda he drew on the whiteboard?! LOL. No offence of course, it is just my thought which my friend, Catherine agreed with me too when she saw this pix. *Hex*

Whenever I look at this 'Panda Family Photo' I would laugh at it as it reminds me of a joke my classmate told us. She said that the Panda on the left is Papa Panda and Mama Panda is on the right. Both of them look very upset because their only child which is in the middle is born retarded that's why the child keep smiling and laughing while they look damn sad. LOL!!!

And this was taken last Friday during my Air Brush lesson with part of my classmate. Most of them didn't come to school that day as some of them went to KL to attend the Nails and Beauty exhibition which I am so tempted to go too but BF forbid me to travel overseas w/o him hence what to do? FML

Received this 'Future Prediction from my friend via Email 2 years ago and today after reading it again, I find that it is somehow quiet accurate and scary.
(Just to share, so leave your comment to yourself.)

Mr. Juseleeno, born in 1960 (reportedly still alive in 2008), is a Brazilian who has made many predictions and MOST have come to pass, including Princess Diana's death by car accident (which is instigated by someone near her and will probably unfortunately be written off as a car accident), 911 issue and the 2004 Indonesian tsunami.

He sees the future in his dreams, and has an average of 3 to 9 such predictions per day. When he wakes up, he will write them down, and send warnings to those concerned. If it concerns only a normal individual, he will write a letter to warn him/her. If it is a famous person (celebrity, politician etc.), or matters concerning the public, he will not only send it to the individual himself/herself, but also related agencies, government, and media. He urged the media to publish these predictions, but the reply always went along the lines of rejection for fear of arousing public panic.

Now, here is his future predictions :

2008, July : There will be an earthquake in Japan ,which will cause a tsunami of 30 plus meters high to occur as well.

2008, 18th September : An earthquake with magnitude of approximately 9.1 will rock China, simultaneously causing a tsunami of more than 30 meters to occur, resulting in the deaths of more than 1 million people. Although this huge earthquake will happen after the Olympics ends, there will be a series of relatively smaller earthquakes occurring in China before the huge earthquake. Mr. Juseleeno made known his predictions in hopes that people will take heed of his warnings, so that these disasters may be avoided. He hopes there will be a major change in the thinking of people's mindsets in the time period 2007 âEUR" 2008. One factor will be the environmental issue of global warming, which is more serious than what some meteorologists assume.

*Hex* Just nice cause I intend to go Bugis to buy a pair of earrings for my bestie, Wei Ling as she says the earring I bought recently is very pretty and she wants it too so I specially make a trip down to buy but to my disappointment, it is out of stock already! Boo! Nevertheless, I still bought another earrings for her which I love the design a lot so I'm sure she will likes it too ;) Haha. Bought myself a sweet denim dress and a denim Usagi headband that day too and we bump into my Dad and our worker @ Bugis Street! *p.s Bugis street Fire-Rated Roller Shutter is install by my Dad's company which explains why he was there *LOL*

Change of New Blog Skin!

It took me about 2 days to design, re-arrange & edit the skin and finally my hard work are up! ^^

Been busy schooling and rotting @ home nowadays. For the 1st time in my life, I've been jobless for about 1.5 month! And I can still survive from my last pay man, I'm super power right? *clap clap* Anyway I finally went back to Vain Beauty again for my hair extension after 2 freaking long years as I really miss my ~~fake~~ long curly hair so much! (see pix below)

All these pix are extract from my previous blog^^ which I first try doing hair extension back in 2008 then @ Vain Beauty as many people (from forum) recommend them for their good service & good quality of hair. But the main reason is of course I am super satisfy with my hair extension and my experience with them hence after 2 freaking long year, I still went back to them and I always recommend them to my friends for hair extension service!

Business is very good for them then and they only do your hair strictly by appointment. Meaning if you just walk-in without any advance booking, be prepared to be turned away as they have got just too much customer to handle everyday but today, their business @ City Plaza seems rather cold now .When I walk-in that day(non-peak day) there is only 2 staff in the shop! What a dramatic change! But understandable as there are more and more competitor coming up this 2 years.

Actually I did my hair extension last year @ another shop (quite popular also) call 'Angel Xin' @ their Chinatown outlets and it turned out to be my most HORRIBLE nightmare ever! Their service are really bad and the girl doing my hair has got a real attitude problem she is very rough in handling my hair when doing braiding and she over charged and cheated me! I request to do 180 strand but after it is done it look like less then 100 strand but the sales girl insisted so there's nothing I can do as I can't possible take down the extension and count. Unwillingly, I pay her $270 even tho they are having a ~~fake~~ online promotion of $1/strand for braiding so by right I should pay her $180 but she claims that no such promotion and braiding is $1.50/strand. What a FB!

I end up taking down the extension myself after 2 weeks (didn't go back to them as I never ever want them to touch my hair again!) as all my friends are criticising about how fake my hair extension look like as the quality itself is really very fake like some cheapo wig with shiny surface and the color of the hair extension is a far cry from my natural hair! I really regret from trying their service. And guess what? I am so right when I took it down and count (Yes, I counted it one by one) and there is only 60 strand instead of the 180 strand she claims!!! &^^@$^!&)@!% FB FB FB!!! It is really a total waste of my money and I spent it in returns for all these ridiculars suffering?

So this time I went back to Vain Beauty again to do my hair extension as I wanted it so badly that when Josephine says she wants to dye her hair @ Cut & Perm I steadily changed my appointment on Saturday to Tuesday after our lesson to accompany her go since both shops are located @ City Plaza. *hehe* So here's my before and after pix.

Result are not as obvious as the one I did in 2008 as I chose a smaller curl this time which I really regret but it's alright, I can always change back to a bigger curl next time when I do extension with them which I estimate it to be this coming Nov as extension could last a min of 3 months. My longest record is 5 months then (insane! I can't remember how I maintain them then)

Didn't trim my hair before doing extension this time as my hair stylist, Joanne from Cut & Perm is off so I just go ahead with my extension. This time round I did 240 strand for my whole head as my hair is rather long without much layers hence need to put more extension to create a more natural look and I am totally satisfy with the end result. *Hex . . . I'm a happy customer*

Too bad I've got sensitive scalp if not I'll dye it in Ash brown too but needs to ask Joanne to help me dye my hair as I am sensitive to male stylist too which I don't know why?

Been busy attending school , making accessories , accompany bestie (Wei Ling) , doing housework and looking after my remaining 9 dogs these days :)

Life has been busy but I am very happy & contented as I'm living my every day happily to the fullest. Just that it could be better if baby is back with me. Kinda feel sad when I thought of my birthday which is coming this September and he couldn't make it back. Don't feel like celebrating it so I guess I'll just hide myself at home and sleep.

Been learning 3D Nail Art emboss , Acrylic Extension and Tips overlay at school recently and it is so difficult! LOL. But I strongly believe that practice makes perfect hence needa practice MORE! But first of all, I got to buy more course material in order to practise :(

Damn broke man.

Studying this course is really not cheap and not easy but I still love and enjoy it because it's my passion and interest. So must 'JIA YOU'!!!

Many people has been asking me what I intend to do after I graduate and will I open a nail salon after I starts to make good money?

Well

I'll work as a Freelance Nail Technician after I graduated as I adore the freedom of working as a freelancer whereby I've got all the says in my schedule which is what I want but I will never end up opening a nail salon as I do not want to invite any burden on rentals , sales & staff problem.

Specially rental. Once people drag down by this problems they'll try to sell products to their customer to cover which is not something I like.

and it was a great movie! Angelina Jolie is god damn pretty (specially her eyes pls) but I hate the ending or rather no ending? Wei Ling says there'll surely be SALT 2 and I am looking forward to it ya. So for now, Ong Bak 3 will be my next must watch movie tho it has been out since 22th July -.-''

Had a fruitful day spent with Wei Ling at Causeway point and I bought 2 new casual bag for school, 1 professional tools bag, some nail art tools, materials and a nail art book so there goes my $200 *oouch*. LOL. Gonna start looking for a part time job real soon. No office job of course. Might look for a part time retail job @ Bugis Street ya cause it is near to my school ^^

Back to my Nail Academy on Tues for my class but I was late! For about 40min I guess -.-''

as I had a hard time trying to locate my school which they recently moved to SMU! Madness!

Initially I plan to take a train there but change my mind last min as I need to change my train

like from Bukit Gombak to Jurong East Interchange then City Hall Interchange to Bras Basah!

Hence, I took a train to Bukit Batok & took bus 106 instead which a smart ass told me that the

whole journey only takes about 40min end up it took about an hour plus! *roll eye ball*

Altho I feel very -.-'' but I still decide to forgive that smart ass for I saw a note she left on my table a few days ago and I only saw it that morning when I'm packing my bag last min! LOL

I feel so surprise and touch when I saw this note!

Have not been updating my lesson on blog as the schedule of my lesson is very complicated.
Ever since I returned from my Thailand trip, I was told to stop lesson for a month as my class
was about to complete their Manicure & Pedicure lesson hence I can only join back when they
starts Nail Art. Feel so cheated when during the seminar I was inform that should I miss out any lesson, I can make up for it with other class else, it will be a 1-to-1 session end up it is not so.

Feel more devastate when one of my my classmate, Madaleine told me that her friend who join the school a batch later then us has just started their Manicure & Pedicure lesson but I am not asked to have my make up lesson with them!? I was only told that when there are any class available for Medicure & Pedicure, they'll let me know again.

So . . . what to do? Feel so cheated & fuck up by their arrangement. *Angry*
I was later back with my original class when they started Nail Art and it was a torture! Because
I've not yet learn how to do proper polish and proper ways of holding the nail polish bottle I was being questioned by my classmate and teacher when I joined back the class. They will ask me tons of question like why do you polish this way? Why do you hold your nail polish bottle that way? Don't you know that it is incorrectly??? Etc . . . etc . . . etc . . .

Anyway, the school arrange me to attend Acrylic & Gel Extension lesson this time which I don't understand why I must jump module AGAIN when I've not even complete my Nail Art 3? Fuck up arrangement. And I got to convert my Part time evening class to Full time morning class till evening in order to study peacefully else for every single lesson I'll be questioned & treated with stares like as if I'm a freeloader!? What the hell, I paid up $4K school fees in cash way before I start my 1st lesson yet I got to be questioned again & again. What's your student ID? Are you sure you are a student in this class . . . blah . . . blah . . . blah and goes around asking my classmate whether they really have a classmate with them call MAY TAY? *faint*

So this is what you get for paying FULL school fees & the 2 month money I paid for my locker went down to the drain since they didn't move the locker over to SMU and when my lesson was stopped for a month. *haizzzzz*

So this is my course note for my 1st lesson on Acrylic & Gel Extension which is the module I look forward to most in this whole course :)

Meet up with Wei Ling after school @ my fav. Japanese Restaurant, Bishamon for dinner. And we had a great time chatting with each other companion ^^

Send Yi Wan to the Joyous Vet today together with my Brother & Younger sister.

Yi Wan was injured on the back of his head which we suspect he got into fights with

stray dogs at the field outside our factory. His condition seems rather bad despite we

had applied some medication on his wound & help him to bandage. He is now being

hospitalise as doctor needs to give him general anaesthetic in order to clean his wound.

Looking at him, I feel so helpless and heart breaking. Tho I know that he will be fine,

I still can't help to stop myself from getting so unrest. Everything and every staff in the

clinic reminds me of Yi Wan sister, Tiger who die in the Joyous Vet just a few months ago.

My world fall apart since that day and I am still trying to accept the fact. Till now, Tiger

still remain so real in my life. I could somehow feel her present just that I could no longer

touch her . . . or feel her. I miss you Tiger, a lot a lot.

Meet up with Wei Ling last Sunday for some catch-up session and to accompany her to

hunt for part time job @ Holland V.! Holland V.! A place I would always miss as I use to hang out there back in my secondary school days as my Dad's company was located @ Kepple Marina then hence I'll surely pass by Holland V. when I took Bus. 61 down. Sometimes, I would slack at the Starbucks there if I do not want to go to my Dad's company that early. And the Crystal jade there always reminds me of having high tea with my Mum & Baby Sis. Really miss those days :(

After Holland V., Wei Ling then took me to an ice cream cafe which she always mention it to me but never yet brought me there before hence she took this opportunity to bring me there and I fall in love with that place immediately! With their home-made ice cream of course! And their adorable wall design too. The cafe give me a very clean & romantic feeling which I don't know why find it suitable for dating. Maybe it is their cute wall design and all their ice cream flavours look so tempting! I really wanted to try them all but I wonder when will I ever complete trying them all as they've got like 43 flavours -.-''

Watched 'Eclipse' with Wei Ling last Saturday @ Bugis Iluma.

It was really a great movie and the villain, 'Victoria' finally die!!! ^^

Went to Bugis Street for some shopping after the movie before heading to G4 for dinner.

Goshh . . . it has been such a long time since I last had their club sandwich there! Kinda miss

it not forgetting my favourite bangers there too :) The food at G4 are getting much & much better

nowadays while my Xeperia 10 camera is getting much & much worse! Look at the quality!

Really piss off!

Guess it is time for me to get a new digital camera or rather change my mobile phone again? LOL.

Shall see then, I'm going to declare jobless soon hence must be more spendthrift a little now. I do

not want to work as an accountant / at office anymore for now. Kinda miss the days I work at retail

as sales girl as I gets to doll myself up everyday and work in a shop all to my own and meet new customer everyday. When my sales is good, I'm proud of myself but when it is bad, I'll work harder towards my goal :) Well . . . well . . . well pay really don't matters to me. I really wanna live everyday

a happy one.

Been feeling very upset and down recently - Work , Family and my Baby. Nothing seems to go right.

I finally tender my resignation last month and will only work till this July after which I'll take a long break. For as long as one week or one month. It depends. From now on I'll only do things I want / happy about because I really have had enough of that batch of people from the other company. When my dad's company first merge with the other company this year, I am very reluctant to go over as I really feel like breaking FREE from my parents and our family business to do the kind of job I like and enjoy even if the pay is low, I'm happy.

Sex And The City 2

Watched 'Sex And The City 2' with Babe @ West Mall cinema yesterday and it was a freaking long 2.5 hour long movie! I actually waited for this part 2 for quite some time and am actually looking forward to it but after watching it, I'm kinda disappointed as the storyline is rather weird and boring. A bit waste of my Baby's money as it was a treat from him and it is so sweet of him to accompany me to watch it since he know I wanted to watch it so much :)

Another 3 more months would be our 6 years anniversary but since Baby would be away at that time from me for a period of time, he bought me a little Tigger to keep me accompany temporary and to add on to my collection of course. I'm crazy over Tigger and Hello Kitty apart from my dearest Baby! *Hex* Baby also bought me a Nail Art book when he caught me browsing it at a book fair which we happen to pass by as he know that I am currently pursuing a Diploma in Nail Technology, he bought the book immediately and told me that it would be good for me to have some books for better reference. That's so caring of him!

Knowing that I always have cravings for Chocolate, Baby also got me some of my favourite Chocolate snacks and the Salmon flakes from Japan is meant for me to add on to my favourite tofu or rice as flavouring ^^

Trying out my new H/P camera - The Sony Ericsson Xeperia 10 which it fail so badly! Sony Ericsson keep boosting that it is a 8.1mp camera but the quality is so bad! Boo! The camera is incomparable to my Ex-Love, G900 5.1mp camera by Sony Ericsson too. *WTH*?

Went to Chatuchak weekend market with Baby in the morning for some shopping and he had his early lunch there with chicken rice while I have some homemade coconut ice-cream and fresh coconut juice!

*p.s I love to drink coconut juice specially those from Thailand one! LOL

Just when we are almost done with our shopping and was about to leave Chatuchak we saw some Military Troops rush in and there are a number of Military and Police vehicle setting up road blocks at the Chatuchak main road. I am worry sick as I'm afraid that the "Red Shirts" would come to the Market and create chaos but Baby on the other hand is so excited about what's happening around us and he wouldn't leave till he took enough pix of the Military troops, and Vehicle -.-''

After our shopping, we head back to our hotel to take a nap before Baby bring me out to a cafe at Huai Kwang Night Market for some coffee and cake ^^

Am actually very excited over it as I see how delicious everything look like but after tasting it, it is way below average standard hence not recommended. It is not difficult to spot which cafe it is as it is the only cafe in the Huai Kwang Market hence it is advisable not to waste your money there.

Baby seriously reading any updates or news on the Thailand "Red Shirts" protesters every single day during our stay in Bangkok while I just sit back and relax with a cup of the world's most awful ice latte which I later give up drinking after a few sip.

Bangkok Trip, Day 4 :)

It's Chatuchak again as it is a Sunday, last day of our shopping in this Market and I seriously needs to get a big bag for all my shopping loots hence we ended up here again for more buys ^^

After our final shopping @ Chatuchak Market, we head back to our Hotel to unload our loots before we get change and head to somewhere dangerous as suggest by Baby by the way, the following two pix was taken in the MRT of Bangkok not a real jungle or forest ya. Hex.

Baby and I transfer to Bangkok Skytrain from the MRT and the ticket for the Skytrain is exactly the type of ticket I use back in my secondary school days before the launch of ez-link card. Kinda miss those ticket tho I still kept some of it for memories ^^

Baby and I manage to catch the last Skytrain at 6pm as BTS are closing down all Skytrain station as early as 6pm due to the "Red Shirts" protesters threats to damage the Skytrain station. We were lucky that the previously closure of Silom station is open that day till 6pm as well since Silom financial district was attacked by a series of grenades on late Thursday, 22.04.2010 the day which Baby and I just arrived at Bangkok.

And yup, we headed down to the protesters site to witness history and to feel the tension there.

We have our dinner at a road side stall where a pair of young couple were selling noodles there mainly to the protesters and it is god damn nice! With so many seafood in it and it cost a mere of 30 baht only! *Faint* Definitely worth it. Baby and I wanted to get a second serving but by the time we returned the whole stall is gone! The couple has packed up and went home already :(

After filling our stomach, we head down to MBK. I do not understand why so many people recommended MBK for shopping as Baby and I find that there is nothing much to shop in it just that there are lots of shops (mainly those selling ladies shoes and bags) are selling their stuff at 199 baht. Almost every where I turned my head at the basement are big signs of 199baht.
Maybe that is the attraction but it do not appeal to me as nothing nice caught my eyes.

We went back to the protesters site to get some souvenir for our family and friend as they have requested us to get some stuff for them from the protesters site -.-''

After that Baby and I took a tuk tuk to the nearby Sum Lum Night Market.
Do not underestimate the legend of tuk tuk as it is indeed travelling in a fast and furious speed and the skill of lane cutting like nobody business is definitely no gimmick! LOL. I'm impressed.

Baby and I went back to our Hotel after a short 20mins stroll in the Sum Lum Night Market as there are not much tourist there and all the shop owners are very aggressive over sales. It is kinda stress as we are the only target over there hence we left there after I bought some accessories.

Bangkok Trip, Day 5

Baby and I went to Silom financial district as the place has been attack by the "Red Shirts" protesters just a few days before hence it is heavily armed with Police and Military personnel at all Banks entrance despite it is closed for business. The atmosphere there is quite tense and we can see Military trucks and vehicle every where on every streets. Not far from the business district is one of the "Red Shirts" protesters camp site.

We had Bangkok's Mcdonald pork burger at Silom Center for lunch and yes, it is real pork burger from Mcdonald which it can't be found in Singapore as Mcdonald in Singapore are all halal one. For non-hahal friends, do try the pork burger if you are in Bangkok as it is really very delicious!

Japanese Crepe that I had 3 of it that day! So yummy and irresistable yet so sinful because of the generous amount of whip cream in it :(

The temple that Baby and I had a hard time locating it. It's really beautiful.

And here's a poor strays that Baby and I found near our Hotel. We have been feeding it with large packet of steam hot dogs which Baby rush to buy from a nearby 7-11 store for the last 2 nights of our stay in Bangkok.

Our last breakfast at Pietra's restaurant before we left for the airport. We'll miss this nice hotel and the hotel staff there and we'll definitely go back again one day.

Arrived @ Singapore Changi Airport @ 5.10am with Baby :)

*p.s The shoulder carry bag is the only belongings I brought along! LOL.

Making last min decision on which Hotel to stay at as Bangkok was in chaos then due to the
political conflicts between Thai Government and The Red Shirts. This trip is actually a worrying one
but we still decided to go ahead with our plans.

Finally board the plane and it's time to take a short nap! ^^

*p.s I didn't sleep at all the night before as I'm busy packing my beauty products into small bottles! LOL

After a long struggle, we finally found the Hotel as it is a newly built Hotel, not many locals
knows about it's location and our cab driver drop us at the opposite road leaving us to
find our own way under the vicious hot sun of 40 degree Celsius for nearly an hour! *faint*

Anyway, we manage to survive under the burning hot sun and made it to our Hotel ; Pietra.
While waiting for our room to be ready, Baby & I went up to the 7th floor of the Hotel and we
had our lunch there.

The yummylicious fried rice with a sunny side that Baby ordered :)
*p.s It is really very delicious!

And here's my spag with bacon and dry chili . . . *must try*
It is so delicious that I almost order another plate! Kinda miss this spag now! awwww . . . . and my caramel drink with generous whipped cream on top!

After our sumptuous lunch, we check-in to our room on the 5th floor. When the Hotel staff show us in, I was like . . . .'' OMG!". The room is so nicely decorated with warm, dim lights and the bed is a King size one! With comfortable cushion sofa, soft carpet and a fridge filled with all kinds of soft drinks! There are chips at the side of the LCD television too and fyi, it does not come free! The in-room refreshment slips is place just next to it with pricing on it =.=''

Shortly after we check-in our room, someone knocked on our door! It is the Hotel room service :) Serving us two complimentary welcome drink! Which is actually some kind of nice cocktail.
How sweet their service are ya! *Impressed*

And here's a close up of the Hotel's toiletries. Although it is a very common sight to see Hotel providing toiletries to their customer but have you ever seen sewing kit being included? *CUTE!* LOL . . . I completely forgot to bring that sweet little things back home as souvenir! *Damn it!*

So upon check-in, what's next? It's rest time! Or to be exact, it should be sleeping time as Baby is having a little fever before we left Singapore hence after our lunch he took his medicine and went to sleep, I too took the chance to restore my beauty sleep ^^ hoho . . . what a nice thing to do on the 1st day of holiday ya? LOL!

We were then waken by Baby's mum call and notice that it is already Singapore Time ; 10pm plus! Baby & I then jump outta our King size bed and head out for our late dinner! Am glad to find a Thailand seafood restaurant located outside near our Hotel for about 10mins walk thanks to the information provide by the Hotel staff :)

And this is my weird tasting stir fried chicken with potatoes that looks like frog meat instead to me.
The chef took almost an hour to cook this dish before it is ready to be serve to me. =.=''

And this is Baby's noodles which taste exactly just like 'Hor Fan' just that it is in thick square shape!
Yes, in SQUARE shape! Very interesting & taste good too!

After our dinner, Baby and I roam around the streets aimlessly hoping to find a convenient store like 7-11 to get some shampoo and tidbits but to our surprise we found a night market instead which is located some 35mins away from our Hotel! The night market is very long and they mainly sell woman's apparels, shoes, accessory, some local food, man's wear and some very obvious counterfeit goods. It is only till the very next few days then we found out that it is actually the somewhat famous
"Huai Kwang Night Market" aka "Huay Kwang Night Market".

I do not know why there are so many people calling it "Huay Kwang" when the nearest MRT to it is actually spell as "Huai Kwang" and the Thai people pronouns it as "Hui Kwang" =.='' anyway Baby
and I learnt one thing at Bangkok which is stuffs at the Night Market is not always cheaper then those at the shopping mall as I realise that for most of the same items found at most Night Market is always much more expensive then those at shopping mall! And it is best to shop for items with price stated because when you open your mouth and speak any language apart from Thai it represent that you are a very potential "chai tou" ready for them to chop! I've already encounter a few times and it really piss me off to shop at Market! :(

Still, I did manage to buy some choi and expensive hair accessory back from Huai Kwang Night Market but the pix has been delete away by Baby accidentally! *arrrggghhhh*

Bangkok Trip, Day 2 :)

Every morning, Baby and I will have a very filling breakfast @ the Hotel restaurant as we need to get ready for a day SHOPPING plus I am not very use to the local food there hence it is wise to keep my stomach full before I step out of the Hotel. ^^ That's so wise of me! *hehe*

*Baby will occasionally have porridge for his breakfast but we forgot to take a pix of it as we are too into our food! haha!

There is actually a morning market that operates only on weekdays which is just between our Hotel (about 5 mins walk away) and Sutthisan MRT Station (Just next to the MRT outside from Exit 3).

And here we are at the famous Chatuchak weekend market :)
Most of the shops are closed as it is a Friday, Baby & I just came to check on the route so that we'll have a easier time finding our way when we come on the weekends! Am glad that a shoes shop is open on that day as you can see that the straps on one of my wedges came off and I need to replace it straight away. Am glad that I manage to get myself a very nice pair of slippers with rows of diamond encrusted to the strap! *Damn pretty* I replaced my preloved ninja wedges straight away tho I'm a bit upset to throw my beloved wedges away.

After a stroll in the market Baby and I went to the nearby Jatujak Mall for some shopping before we proceed to our next destination . . . . . . which is "Central Plaza @ Lat Phrao"!

Do not be taken in by the shopping mall name~ !! Tho it state the words "Lat Phrao", the mall is actually located near to "Phahon Yothin" station instead which is just one stop away from "Lat Phrao" station! Baby & I alighted at the wrong station and needs to pay for the fare again as we were told by the mrt staff that it's impossible for us to walk to the shopping mall from Lat Phrao station. *Hmmm*

Anyway we still manage to make it to the mall by taking the train again of course and opposite of "Central Plaza @ Lat Phrao" is Union mall which is a fantastic place to shop at with almost every thing going way much cheaper than those selling at the night market and even chatuchak. I bought quite a lot of apparels there and it is a place I highly recommend for shopping and at the basement of Union mall there are two foodcourt, a great place to rest your feet and reward yourself a drink.

Lunch for that day is our all-time-favourite, K.F.C!
In Thailand, they use real glasses for their drinks and ceramic plates for the food and the utensils used are metal folks and knife so can you imagine how stress it can be to balance yourself while holding the tray and try to squeeze your way out to your table? *Faint* Am glad that Baby is the one who brought the food to our table!

And our dinner is A&W!
LOL. I kinda miss the food from A&W since the last time I have it was when I'm still studying primary school? Can't really remember it as the fast food withdraw all it's store from Singapore many many years ago but my deepest impression of A&W is their onion rings! It is my top favourite sides apart from french fries and till date, no fast food made the best onion rings like the A&W ones!

*At least to me*

*Fellow Singaporean, by any chance you manage to find an A&W store overseas do try their pancake with ice-cream in chocolate cream! It is really awesome!*

Lastly, these are part of my loot from Bangkok that day :

The most worth buying is this pair of Diamond encrusted slippers from Chatuchak at a mere price of 199 baht only ~ !!! *madness*

And these 3 pairs of shoes are from Union mall.
Price range from 399 baht, 499 baht, 299 baht

*Union mall shoes are more expensive than any other place but definitely more stunning & unique.*
*p.s 2nd pair of shoes are actually encrusted with Black diamonds and sew on frills! Really worth buying!*

Two T-Shirts from Union mall, self design by the locals there made up with good cotton material and a metal studded tank tops from Chatuchak.

Three pretty Blazers I got from "Central Plaza @ Lat Phrao" for work.

And this two skirts which I plan to sell the left one away (the peach pink chiffon) as it was an impulse buy. Brand new with tag, I've not wore it before! Saw this selling at "Ohvola Blogshop" for $22 (but they don't have this sweet peach pink color). Anyone interested pls email me.

Another good buy :
Diamond encrusted Owl earrings from "The Central @ Lat Phrao" at 290 baht. A little pricey but what to do? I've been searching high and low for pretty Owl earrings and necklaces since last year! LOL

Part of the hair accessories I bought from Chatuchak, Union mall and Central :)
All of them are handmade from good quality material. Not really cheap but worth the price.

Laptop cooling pad I bought for my Brother and I ^^

And a very pretty purple hair straightener for my fringe, all from Jatujak Mall and the pocket size Bee Bee calculator are from a road side stall near Union mall which I bought last min to indicate my asking price to shops owner! It did help in some ways as there are communication break down between me and the Thais as most of them can't really speak English.

Lastly, it is these yummy snacks I got from the Jatujak Mall ~ !!
All of them taste so marvellous! Specially the Chocolate Waffle sticks and the Honey coated banana chips. Really regret not buying more of it!

My luck has been down to the bottom recently.

Nothing I do seems to be right and I hate that type of feelings.

I feel sad . . . really very upset yet I can not share with anyone.

My relationship with my parents sour due to many complicated

reason and it is really a pain to stay at home during weekends

to face them. I'm hungry , upset and hurt. Why can't you be more

understanding and reasonable? I hate it when you always find

little things to pick on me and spoil my days since we can't stand

each other we might as well break off, forever. I don't need you anyway

despite how much I once love you.

Came home today with 2 full heavy luggage and a heavy heart.

*sign* I hate home, seriously and I hate my mother's nonsense.

Really feel like getting out of this place and that hell workplace.

Home is never a place I can find PEACE neither at my workplace.

From today onwards, I am back into that mentally torture life again.

And I am all prepare for it after this short holiday at Bangkok.

Face it!

I'll never run away and I'll never say E.I.D!

p.s I'll update my Bangkok trip after I receive all pix from my baby!

Baby's 24th Year Old B'day Celebration :)

It was the day where Baby first shed his tears 24 years ago :D

And on the same day this year, he brought his sister and I to our

favourite restaurant, 'Putien' for lunch and it is his treat! ^^

*p.s Baby's dialect is ''Hing Wa'' hence I am greatly attracted to ''Hing Wa'' food under his influence!

And here's the Birthday Boi ^^
Obviously very attracted to his food specially the prawns.

And here's what we ordered ;

1. Putien Fried Noodle (Mee Sua) - Die Die Must Try This!
*The ONLY dish we never failed to order whenever we dine at Putien!*
2. Bamboo Herbal Prawn - The soup is sooo . . . delicious and it's Baby fav!
3. Chili Live Mussel - Another top fav. dish of ours! Do give it a try if you happen to dine there :)
4. "Pu Tien" Lor Mee - My fav! Cause of the soup! And the noodle taste so much like Ban Mian =X

I've been wanting to go to the Flyer with Baby since Donkey years ago and now my wish finally came true tho it is Baby's Birthday instead of mine but my wish is his too. *hehe*

The view outside the Flyer is really ravishing. Really wish that times could slow down so that I could spent more time with Baby above the world.

Serve with Singapore Flyer's Signature Cocktail , some Chocolate and Strawberry it is definitely one of the most romantic place to spent some good quality times with your love ones! I think guys should really consider this place to bring their gf / wife here as it is really a great , wonderful, relaxing place to be at ya.

After the ride, we went to collect our pix which was taken before our flight :)
FYI, It is not free one. The charges depends on what size of pix you chose.
After pending for some times, Baby and I decided to take the wallet size pix
which consist of 4 pix, each with different backgrounds of the Flyers and it cost a mere of $25 for a set which is still reasonable as it is for our memo plus the date printed is my Baby's Birthday wor!

While waiting for the pix to be ready, took some random shots of the souvenir except the 1st pix which is obviously yours truly! LOL

After collecting the photos, we went to the tropical rainforest for a stroll before heading to the Popeyes for our dinner.

*p.s I love the Mango Cheesecake there so much tho it is very fattening, creamy and sinful!*

After our dinner, Baby's Brothers came to fetch us and we proceeded to St. James to party!
